On either the first, or second weekend of December (likely the second if it is the same as last year) Travis will be hosting a Battle of the Bulge event at his field in Big Lake, MN. I will post an update when a firm date is specified. At the moment, I am planning on going to this in my German kit.
Uniforms: Since this is a winter event, all members should try to have some form of German winter gear. If you do not have German winter clothing, a set of surplus winter overwhite snow camouflage will do fine. For an above and beyond look, consider camouflaging one's helmet or gas mask canister with whitewash, or create a helmet cover from white cloth. Should the weather be warm enough that there is no snow, a wool tunic and pants combo is the way to go.
