Thought this would be a good place for new (and old) members to introduce ourselves. A good introduction would be something along the lines of your name, age, where you are from, why you are interested in reenacting, and any particular interests/abilities/knowledge you have in regards to WWII.
I will go first. My name is Matthew Schneider. At the moment I am 22 years old and am from central WI. I became interested in WWII reenacting out of a general interest in WWII. I really like the aesthetics of the era, the uniforms, the vehicles, the villages and battlegrounds, etc. A good event for me is one where I can really immerse myself in the setting. My particular interests are portraying the generic soldier of WWII. I have always been fascinated by the "average guy" fighting on the front lines. My favorite battlegrounds of WWII are the Italian campaigns, and the very early Normandy campaign.
