What is in your bread bag?

Although examples exist of bearded and several days growth during operations, it was generally considered a mark of the german soldiers professionalism to shave daily. 

Attached is is a repro of a soldat's shaving kit with period illustration and issued shaving soap stick and brush containers. 
Modern technology has sold us on the convenience and exorbitant cost of cartridge razors. 

After adding this this to my kit, I can attest both to the cost savings and superlative quality of a DE wet shave; a skill worth re-learning.
