It looks like we'll have comfortable sitting space at Oconto coming up in a couple of weeks. I used Labor Day to labor on these. They are folding stools made out of cherry wood and it sure helps when you have a friend with a fully stocked wood shop to work in. They fold nice and flat so are easy to store on a truck and provide a nice sitting perch that looks period. With crates and folding chairs to supplement these I think we have this licked for now. Still have to get some varnish on these. This was a nagging project that I wanted to get out of the way. Other ideas for camp improvements include a new post for our unit sign, a couple of posts to hang lanterns, and a open air tarp for sun protection and to act as a central meeting area. I'm working on the last suggestion next.

Very nice Mike. They look great and I really like how these chairs work and fold up. They are easy to transport.
